Best Bits of My Room

17:00

My room is obviously something I spend a lot of time in, so I want to make it the best place possible. I love watching DIY videos on Youtube to try and find new ideas for  my room and it is always changing! I really want to redo my room completely this year (although I said this last year!) so I thought I would share with you my favourite parts of my room, maybe it could give you some inspiration! Last year I also posted a room tour which you can read here if you want to see my whole room.

My first favourite bit is my photo wall. This took me quite a while to do but I am so pleased with the outcome. To achieve it, I printed photos out and then stuck them onto my wall with blutack so it was so simple. I feel like this really adds my personality to my room and I love that.

Something else that I love is on the wall opposite my 'photo wall'. I have my bunting displayed and pictures of 5SOS that I got from the concert I went to. I made the bunting in one of my first blog posts and I still have it almost after 2 years! If you want to read how I made it you can here. It was so simple and adds a lot to my room.

The last place in my room that I like is the top of my drawers, which is where I keep my cacti and a few photo frames with quotes. My 2016 memory jar is also on here as a reminder of all the memories from that year. This is the only area of my room I try to keep clutter free but most of the time it doesn't work!

What are yout favourite parts of your room?

  1. Your room seems so cozy and organised - I love it (though I would personally probably not have 5SOS all over, haha, but you do you!). This also really reminds me that I need to sort out the messy little situation in my own bedroom - I guess I'll take this post as an inspiration (and a sign from the heavens above) to redo my room soon!
